Since I’m travelling this week, I am using this time to paint. However, I couldn’t resist sharing some more journals that I received. Thank you all for sharing your journals!
I like these a lot. I made one with your template, and made two more a bit smaller. These are the smaller journals.
On the left, an old painting with watercolor, hand dyed tissue paper. On the right, a watercolor batik. Inside left journal, rice paper with metallic paint. Inside the right journal, hand dyed tissue paper with metallic stamps.

WOW! These are awesome. I better get busy – the bar keeps raising!
Awesome is definitely the word for these journals. Great idea using hand dyed and painted tissue paper inside and out.
I have a silk painting demo Feb. 1 at the Eagle Festival in Arlington, WA (10am to 5pm), and then taking a silk dyeing class with Karen Sistek in Port Angeles, WA, Feb. 10-14, so I better get started, also. Kathy Murphy-Childs is flying out to take the class, too! Haven’t seen her since our class at The Villages with you.
Have a wonderful trip, Kathie!! 🙂
You are great…we need more of your workshops in the Baton Rouge area!
