I HAVE SO MANY FOND MEMORIES OF MY TIME WITH TWO GROUPS IN FRANCE! What is it that made this trip so special? My mind has been wandering, and here are a few of the things that I loved about it…
The morning light…
The afternoon light…
My Cottage
MARKETS! and all of the great things you find there.
Including the unusual people…
They asked me to photograph them.
Then why do they look scared to death?
Cats in your chair…
and in your hydrangea bush…
and helping you wash dishes in the evening.
Interesting roofs…
Lemon Cake and Tea…
and Lunch with some very fun people…
SHEEP – that some people think are goats (you know who you are). 🙂
Wine Tasting!
French PASTRIES…and dessert at dinner. YUM!
PAINTING…
PAINTING…
and PAINTING.
But truthfully, the VERY BEST part of all of it are the wonderful people who travel with you every step of the way. Sharing their successes and not-so successes, much laughter and making memories together. They are the really the wonder of a trip like this. There’s nothing like it.
So, my hats off to all of you. I’m so proud of the progress you made and I promise to never tell some of the goofy things we did together. Ha! Well, I might tell, but I will never mention your name.
Thanks to both of my groups, who gave me more wonderful memories than I can say.

Kathie, I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoyed being part of your experience. The Couvent with its amazing staff, the villages with their beautiful vistas, the food, the cats and most of all the wonderful artists that shared this adventure made my stay truly memorable. OH! I want that I had been able to do this too, with you. Please put me on your list for next time, as I want to be there! I was foolish to think I could not do this. It is going to be for me, too! I promise! Life is too short to stay home and do dishes, cook and clean up. Again and again.
Sure brings back memories of the trip I took. What a fabulous experience it was!!! Congrats to all the ‘current seminar attendees!’

Oh, my heart aches to be there again. I had the most wonderful time. I loved all the people I met, our wonderful hosts and cooks, the beautiful gardens, and the wonderful people in Southern France. Words cannot express how much I loved the trip. Thanks for all you do to make it so great. See you next month.

Your trip looks wonderful but I want to thank you for a wonderful time up in Madeline Island, learned so much even if I forgot all about the teaching on the first day. Thank you for all your hard work on the handouts and the wall posters, I took photos of all the wall info and will print it all out to make up a notebook of how to paint your photos. Thanks again for a great time at a wonderful place with a great group of very talented artists. Thanks to for the Tuesday Tips blog I learn so much from them too thanks for giving so much to your students, you are a treasure!
